Kick-off postponed to 2023 for Inazuma Eleven: Great Road of Heroes

If you’re looking forward to Inazuma Eleven. Great Road of Heroes, you’ll have to wait a little longer, as the release date has been pushed back to 2023.

The Switch has a few Arles girls (hi Metroid Prime 4), and the youngest of the Inazuma Eleven series is not ashamed to be among them. The game was announced in 2016 at a Level-5 Vision and was part of a cross-media collaboration with the animated Inazuma Eleven: Ares. It was slated for release in 2018. Since then, a lot has happened.

It’s difficult to remember details. We know that the problems began early on. with Level-5’s partnership with another development studio (whose name is currently unknown) proving difficult. This is how we find out in 2019 that Level-5 has stopped collaborating and has returned to internal growth.

In short, we had the right to hear about the game from Akihiro Hino. the President of Level-5, on April 2, 2021. It comes to us in the form of a blog post and the video below. He apologizes for the project’s prolonged delay and takes the opportunity to update fans on Inazuma Eleven: Great Path of Heroes.
